Makeup Revolution £4 'Iconic Fever' palette review

As you may have seen on my blog I love Makeup Revolution, they produce high quality products for incredible prices and for a budget freak like me I’m all over anything they release. I have been testing out the Reloaded eyeshadow palette in ‘Iconic Fever’ and I am more than impressed.

The palette consists of 15 shades, the shades range from light to burgundy to bronze to browns. Although the palette screams warm colours the variety of shades can be used for anything from day to night.

Onto the shades themselves, the shimmer shades are intensely pigmented. They can be used dry to get a strong colour pay off or used with a wet brush and the colours pop! The shimmer shades are creamy so they work well with brushes or fingers.

The matte shades are more powdery which for £4 is to be expected however they do have good pigmentation. Personally the matte shades are pigmented enough for my taste but if you do want them to pop you can add more and layer them for a more intense colour. As they are more on the powdery side they blend easily, you can layer them without any patches.

The shades are quite unique too, the bright orange and the burgundy brown are just examples of shades that I haven’t seen in other drugstore/high-street palettes, the variety of the shades are impressive.

The packaging like most of the Makeup Revolution products is very simple, a slim palette which I like because it’s easy to travel with as well as store in my draw. The pan of eyeshadows themselves are fairly big in comparison to other drugstore palettes, you get a large amount of product which is great value for money too.

Overall I am very impressed with the shades in particular and the quality. The palette comes in 8 different options, so there’s a palette for everyone!
