When I was younger bright nail polish was the thing, I remember in high school blues and oranges were the colours of summer. Although I still love a good bright nail polish nudes and neutrals have taken over the game. Below I’ll dip into the nudes that I have been loving over the last few months.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine ‘500 Caramel Cupcake’
This is by far my most worn nude, I have even bought a backup for the backup! Caramel Cupcake is a taupe nude, a cool toned base with the right amount of pinkness to it. The touch of baby pink makes it a very flattering shade, not too dull that it makes your hands look pale like some nude nail polishes can. I would call it a traditional nude, a very elegant and classic colour.
As the texture is fairly fine the 60 seconds dry time Rimmel claim I would say is true. I usually give it 2 minutes to insure my nails are completely dry which does the job and they don’t chip until day 4 or 5.
Essie Nail Lacquer ‘Urban Jungle’
A more recent purchase is Essie’s Urban Jungle which is a creamy white. Although some class white as a bold nail colour I would still class it as a nude. I say it is a nude as it gives a bright pop of colour on the nails without it being too ‘out there’. I have been enjoying white polishes as the shade is classy and goes with everything!
Like everybody else I am a huge Essie fan, with one coat you get a great colour pay off and the drying time is fairly good, a few minutes I would say until completely dry.

Primark ‘Cookie’
After really enjoying nude polishes I went on a search to find the perfect cream and just when I thought I ran out of luck I found Primark’s 90p nail polish range. This shade is a lovely coconut cream, again bright enough to be noticed but not too bright it grabs attention.
For 90p it is a real bargain, similarly to the above shades it is a classic and elegant nail polish, and because of the neutral shade it is high maintenance. I was really impressed with the shade range but also the packaging which is glass and very sturdy, something I wasn’t expecting for less than a pound!
Collection Lasting Gel Nail Polish ‘Antique Rose’
Last but not least, Collection’s own twist on nude polishes. Antique rose is a very warm nude, a gorgeous blush shade. If you are not into nude nail polishes or cannot find a ‘darker’ nude this could the one for you. The hint of warmth adds enough colour that it won’t wash you out, whilst the rosey shade makes it a romantic neutral!
As you can tell I have been really enjoying nude nail polishes, they are easy to maintain and look extremely classy, if you have any nude polishes you are loving please leave them down below and I will check them out!
