Personally I think skincare is the hardest thing to find and trial. I don’t usually see a difference straight away when I am trying a new moisturiser and sometimes it hard to notice if the product is actually doing its job. This is until I came across Superdrug’s Vitamin E range.

The Vitamin E range is a skincare line selling creams, oil and masks. Superdrug state that the range boast a range of vitamins that ‘hydrate, nourish and protect your skin’. The combination of vitamins was designed to help care for dry skin. Although I have combination skin and on the packaging of the creams it says for normal to dry skin, these creams have become my daily moisturisers!

For first impressions the Vitamin E SPF 15 Moisturising Day Cream was thicker than what I am used to. It has an in-between, not too thick, not too thin consistency. I used a small amount which was more than enough, I usually use two layers of day cream in the winter but there was no need with this one. Once applied it takes a few second to sink in which I personally like, sometimes when creams sink in too quickly I don’t know if I should apply more or if it’s even doing its job! Having said this you have to work quickly, once it dries it is set! Once it is completely dry there is no sticky residue, bonus.

The cream claims to hydrate the skin and combat dry skin and I absolutely agree. After I applied the cream my skin felt smooth which I expected however after several hours my skin didn’t feel dry or flaky in certain areas such as my cheeks where I tend to get dry. Hours after my skin still felt soft and hydrated.

Now onto the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream. This cream is surprisingly lighter than the day cream, well to me anyway. As it is slightly lighter it spreads easily, again I only used a small amount which covered my entire face. The product again dries fairly quickly, no need to go to bed with a wet face! As the cream is lighter in texture I sometimes go in with a second layer in my dry areas and it doesn’t leave me greasy.

Both creams claim the give 24 hour moisturisation and I agree! I have been using this night cream for about a month and when I wash my face the morning after my face still feels soft, no dry patches.

There is no extreme fragrance to these creams, a very subtle 'moisturiser' scent. With no strong fragrances, no harmful chemicals and made with natural vitamins, if you have sensitive or problematic skin these creams could be a fit for you. For only £2.99 each you get 100ml of product which lasts me months so you are defiantly getting your money’s worth. The only downside I have is the range is exclusive to Superdrug, however Superdrug do deliver so I would highly recommend giving them a go!
